Donuts are really good. They taste so sweet and delicious… They boost moral. Needless to say, I ate three of them this evening. They were of the Tastykake variety: 2 cinnamon sugar covered donuts and one powdered sugar donut.
During the consumption of these delectable donuts, a friend and I came to the shocking realization that our town has no donut shop! We have neither Krispy Kreme nor Dunkin’ Donuts! This is an unfortunate oversite for those companies, as there is certainly a large market here not only for donuts, but also for coffee, for which Dunkin’ Donuts especially is known.

My stomach seems to think I’m hungry, and so it reminds me of another good thing that happened today.
I often eat pizza for lunch or dinner, sometimes both, usually pepperoni pizza. Several years back when Papa John’s pizza was first becoming popular in our area, I discovered the most delightful taste of garlic butter sauce. Oh! How good that sauce is! I had always been a fan of garlic, and of butter as well, and such a combination was a gift from heaven!
Within the last year, they have begun serving garlic butter sauce here and the aforementioned common lunch and dinner non-Papa John’s pizza place. Usually it is on the runny, watery side, more like a liquid than a sauce. However, today it was much thicker in consistency and lighter in color, making for a much easier dip and more consistent application to my pizza. Delicious!
